We offer a varied array of items for breakfast each day at Queen City Bakery.  All breakfast items are available for order.  We request 48 hours notice for all orders. 

Muffins

These American favorites are baked fresh each morning and flavors change daily according to popularity and season.  $2.00 each.

Scones

These tender all butter scones, made fresh daily, come in a variety of flavors changing seasonally.  $2.00 each. 

Quiche

Individual 4" quiche are served every day at the bakery.  This traditional breakfast item is made with a flaky all-butter crust.  The quiche highlights seasonal ingredients.  Flavors change each day and have included asparagus/gruyere, mushroom/chive/cheddar, Lorraine, and carmalized onion/goat cheese in the past.  4" quiche are $5.00 each.  Quiche are available for special order only in the traditional 9" size and cost $24.00 each. 

Jammers

An old-fashioned buttermilk biscuit filled with butter and homemade preserves.  $2.50 each.

Granola Parfait

Vanilla yogurt, our homemade granola and fresh fruit.  A perfect way to start your day.  $3.50 each.

Coffee Cake

Sour cream coffee cake with a cinnamon-cocoa swirl.  $2.50 per slice / $20.00 whole. 

Tea Cakes

Tea cake flavors have included Zucchini / Orange marmalade, Banana, and Banana chock full of dates and walnuts.  Available most days by the slice for $2.00 each.  New Pumpkin / Chocolate Chip mini loafs are  also available at the bakery.  Size is approximately 7" X 3" and they are $8.00 each.  These items are not available for special order.

All of our cakes are round, 3-layer cakes.  8" cakes serve 8-16 people and cost $45.00.  10" cakes serve 12-24 people and cost $62.00.  We require 48 hours notice for all special orders.  Custom decoration and inscriptions can be added to any cake.  There is an additional charge for custom decoration but no fee for inscriptions.  All questions or concerns about decoration or inscription should be made at the time of ordering.  Cakes are also served by the slice at the bakery for $4.00 and flavor options change daily.

Brooklyn Blackout

This dark chocolate, devil's food cake is layered with a sea salt infused caramel and rich ganache and covered in a whipped chocolate buttercream icing. 

German Chocolate - New Fall Flavor

This rich chocolate cake is layered with a gooey coconut / pecan filling.  Sure to become your new favorite.

Caramel Apple - New Fall Flavor

Apple cake with caramel between the layers and covered and filled with a caramel buttercream.  The perfect fall flavor. 

24K Carrot

Topped with walnuts…this moist cake is filled and covered with nothing but the best cream cheese icing in town!

Red Hook Red Velvet

A southern buttermilk cake with a hint of cocoa, layered and covered with a light vanilla buttercream.  Named after Mitch and Kristine’s favorite Brooklyn neighborhood. 

Classic Vanilla / Chocolate

Made with 3 layers of vanilla or chocolate cake and covered and filled with rich chocolate or vanilla buttercream.  Good for all ages! 

4-bite versions of our larger cakes.  Perfect for any occasion from birthdays to weddings.  Flavors change daily at the bakery and all flavors are available for special order by the dozen per flavor.  All cupcakes are $2.00 each.  Custom decoration can be added for an additional charge.

Ginger Molasses - New Fall Flavor

For Fall and Winter only.  Made with Blackstrap Molasses, this cookie is studded with pieces of crystallized ginger. 

Oatmeal Fruit & Nut

Made to satisfy.  Filled with oatmeal, dried apricots, dates, coconut, walnuts and almonds. 

Monster - New Fall Flavor

This cookie is a favorite of almost everyone we know.  Loaded with peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chips and M&M's...it's sure to be one of your favorites too. 

This classic Italian cookie is filled with cranberries and walnuts and has a hint of orange.  $1.50 each

Triple Chocolate Brownie

This dense, rich brownie is made with the highest quality French chocolate and cocoa powder, laced with chocolate chunks, and iced with a rich chocolate ganache.  $3.00 each.

Peanut Butter Square

This smooth 1-inch thick peanut butter square is sandwiched between a graham crust and a dark chocolate glaze.  $2.50 each. 

Bourbon Pecan - New Fall Flavor

A slice of pecan pie in every bite!  This rich pecan topping sits on a shortbread crust.  $2.50 each.

Granola - New Fall Flavor

Made with seasonal combinations and always from scratch.  This mix has oats, dried cranberries, golden raisins, pecans, pumpkin, maple syrup & honey. $7.50 per pound.

Bourbon Pecan Cookies - New Fall Flavor

These bite size treats are just what you need to get you through the day.  The perfect Fall flavor.

Marshmallow 6-Packs  - New Item for Fall

Homemade marshmallows packaged in bags of 6 for on-the-go ease.  Perfect for that cup of hot chocolate or coffee at home.  Available in Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint.  $3.50 per bag of 6.  Also sold individually in the bakery for .50 each.

All of our pies and tarts are available for special order.  We require a minimum of 48 hours notice.  Pies are a traditional 9" size and each cost $28.00.  Our tart comes in a fluted 9" size as well and costs $32.00.

This classic American dessert is given a Queen City Bakery make-over and made with a delicious cheddar cheese crust.

Bourbon Pecan Pie

Similar to our bar, this classic fall flavor is perfect for any occasion.

Pumpkin Whole Grain Pie

A classic pumpkin pie with a whole grain crust consisting of whole wheat flour, oats and other delicious ingredients.  An autumnal dessert favorite.

Pear Frangipane Tart

This tart is sure to please.  A sweet tart shell filled with an almond based cream and fresh pears.  Baked to perfection and topped with a light sprinkling of confectioners sugar.

We proudly serve coffee from Gimme! Coffee.  Located in Itaca, NY, this specialty roaster was just named one of the best coffee producers from both Food & Wine and Saveur Magazines.

Our hot chocolate also come from New York.  We are honored to serve Jacques Torres hot chocolate at Queen City Bakery.  This incredible hot chocolate tasted like you're drinking melted chocolate!  You have to taste it to believe it.

All of our hot and iced tea comes from Long Island, NY.  SerendipiTea is one of the finest tea houses on the east coast.  They offer a varying array of teas and tisanes and we are proud to have it here in South Dakota.
